Arnold Classic Australia 2019 - Bonac took the title, defending champion Winklaar finished third!

The days of 15-17 March in Melbourne, Australia, belonged to the fifth edition of the Arnold Sports Festival Australia, the highlight of which is the annual Arnold Classic Australia competition, where representatives of the Open category of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League get the opportunity to compete.

The starting field eventually numbered just eleven fighters as Brandon Curry, Steve Kuclo, Quincy Winklaar, Mikhail Volinkin and Akim Williams declined the invitation for various reasons.
Even so, the bodybuilding fan did not miss out.

Immediately in the first semi-final elimination, the fivesome of William Bonac, Cedric McMillan, Luke Sandoe, Roelly Winklaar and Joshua Lenartowicz stood side by side, i.e. the fighters who took part in the traditional Arnold Classic in Columbus earlier this month.
Bonac and McMillan, who finished second and third at the Arnold Classic, were the clear favourites.

Semi-final fights:

William Bonac was the winner. He was a bit sharper than in Columbus, but even here he was able to benefit from his great muscle plasticity, quantity and strength.

Second place went to Cedric McMillan, who competed here in the form of his life. With a great physique, he also impressed with his full, hard and sharp muscles.
If he had won the competition, surely no one could have had the slightest objection.

On the other hand, some had objections to Roelly Winklaarcoming third. Although he offered impressive volumes here, as he did in Columbus earlier this month, his form was still not what we would expect from a fighter of his calibre! He might as well have been one position lower.

Joshua Lenartowicz could have moved ahead of him. He's also huge, and he was a bit tighter and sharper than his opponent.

Fifth place here went to Arnold Classic third man Luke Sandoe, which is a real shame! Just like in Columbus, he was complex, with massive and chiseled muscles. But it lacked fullness. Luke is slowly but surely working his way up to the very top, and this placement doesn't fit that.
