Antoine Vaillant 14 weeks before his first Olympia
Author: Canadian professional bodybuilder Antoine Vaillant scored his first triumph among professionals at the weekend California Pro 2020, thus securing his first participation in the most prestigious bodybuilding competition in the world, Mr. Olympia!
It may seem that he waited a long time for his first win, as he headed to the pros in 2012, when he absolutely dominated the Canadian Championship. The very next season he made his debut at the 2013 New York Pro, where he finished 14th, and then competed at the Toronto Pro Supershow, where he finished tied for 16th.
However, a black period followed during which he struggled with drug addiction, and it wasn't until 2018 that he returned to the competition stage. That started at the 2018 Toronto Pro Supershow, where he reached 4th place.
Then this year, he has made two starts so far, at the 2020 New York Pro, where he placed 7th, and at the aforementioned 2020 California Pro, which he dominated.
The win was his fifth professional start, which is not a bad result at all!
On Monday 14th September he had a chest training under the guidance of Milos Sarchev. He added that his chest was pumped up like never before in his life!
After the workout, a video was taken of the Canadian posing alongside the aforementioned Šarčev.
