A battle of champions and a 38-hour journey to victory!

Street Hard Workout Battle moved to Žatec, to a newly built playground, which was inaugurated in May 2018.
This year's edition brought with it a new jury, represented by Vadym Oleyniik, Latwist, Antoine Lacotte, Viktor Fedorov, Tatyana Chumakova - Hefesto girl and Lea Depagneux. Interviews were conducted with some of these births, which we have brought to you HERE.

The jury also included Simon Forrai. The jury has therefore increased from five to seven, and was much more internationally based. The judging of the performances was therefore based on their international experience of big battles and was thus of a world standard.
What did the competition retain from the past? It kept the idea of the battle being free for all, because we recognise that many athletes have to travel a really long distance and have such a high cost with just getting there. And we don't want to add to the athletes' costs. Which finally showed in the form of Vitaly Pavlenko, who spent 38 hours on the bus on his way to our competition!
We managed to find a partner again, who donated a prize money to the competition, namely WoClub, who donated 10.000 CZK, 400 € for the absolute winner of the battle.
Our competition was once again supported in a very significant way by Amix Nutrition, which donated prizes in kind worth approximately 60,000 CZK.
Also, the governor of the Ústí nad Labem Region, Mr. Oldřich Bubeníček, took over the patronage of our competition again and the Ústí nad Labem Region supported our competition with a very significant amount.
The City of Chomutov also supported us financially, Kiswire Cord Czech paid for the jury's tickets to the competition and the City of Žatec and the Tesco Foundation also supported us financially.
Culture and Sport Chomutov s.r.o. supported the competition with material donations.
With the growing publicity of the competition, we have expanded our sponsors to include new interested parties in addition to our long-standing partners.
On social media, namely on Facebook and Instagram, you could watch the arrival of the jury and their accommodation on Friday and their first acquaintance with the Czech Republic. For example, Viktor Fedorov, Tatyana Chumakova and Vitaly Pavlenko were out of their country for the first time.

The jury liked the street workout playground in Chomutov, where they were staying, so much that it took them a while to arrive at the competition itself.
From abroad, Vitaly Pavlenko, the champion from Ukraine and specifically from the town of Sumy, which is approximately 40 km from the border with Russia, joined us for the competition. Sahann from the city of Nice also travelled a great distance to our battle. Tamás Magda, the 2017 multi-champion, came from Hungary. Furthermore, Adrienn Vachter, also from Hungary, entered the women's category and came to the competition.
Among the Czech athletes, Patrik Černý, the 2018 champion and 2019 bronze winner in the under 75 kg weight category, was among the most notable. Jan Holinec, the Czech Republic's champion in the weight category over 85 kg, also came to the battle.
At the beginning, the judges of our competition took over the trapeze, so the spectators and competitors could see shrim flips, front flips from the bars, 540s, malteses, planches and very explosive muslce ups. The judges borrowed the street workout park for at least 20 minutes and it looked like they might not even leave the park as they were properly fired up.
And how did the battle itself go? The entered athletes had 2 minutes for their base round and based on the written scores from the jury, eight athletes moved on in the under 75kg weight category.
Vitaly Pavlenko settled in first place by a large margin of points, with Filip Kratky in second place just ahead of Sahann from France and Patrik Cerny. In this category, in the elimination-style battles, the athlete with the highest number of points went against each other with the athlete with the lowest number of points. Athletes have 30 seconds on floor, 30 seconds on bars, 30 seconds on trapeze.
In this elimination way Vitaly Pavlenko advanced to the semi-finals with a clear-cut way when he defeated Ales Kratochvil in the quarter-finals, and then Filip Kratky who had France Hirt as his opponent in the quarter-finals, Sahann defeated the local Markus Arbeit and Patrik Cerny fought with the Hungarian Tomas Magda. In the knockout round Vitaly Pavleko and Filip Kratky will face each other and in the second semi-final battle between Sahann and Patrik Cerny Patrik Cerny will advance to the final.
Before the final, the battle for third place is fought between Sahann and Filip Kratky and this battle is really very even. Both show planche and maltesi on the ground and Sahann adds one arm planche on the backs of the hands. In these static exercises, he has the upper hand in clean execution but doesn't show dynamism unlike Filip Short. The jury has a long deliberation and no one knows how the jury's evaluation will turn out. In the end Filip Krátký wins the bronze.
In the finals in the men's category up to 75 kg , the champion of Ukraine Vitaly Pavlenko and the 2018 Czech champion Patrik Cerny will compete. In the final, the athletes have 45 seconds on the floor, 45 seconds on the bars and 45 seconds on the trapeze.
Vitaly Pavlenko will start his set on the ground and pulls out a duel of one arm planche and full malteser, which he manages to keep fiercely low to the ground for more than the stipulated three seconds, and adds a one arm handstand and a beautifully executed backflip with a prescription toe impact with inaudible impact. Patrik Cerny counters and performs a one arm handstand and launches from a handstand into a straddle planche and adds a back flip as well. The fight continues on the trapeze and bars where both perform a beautiful malteser among other things. The fight is very, very even and the judges deliberate for a very long time before declaring a winner. It is Vitaly Pavlenko!

In the men's weight category over 85 kg there was a battle between the first two, so actually a final between Honza Holinec and Miroslav Vojtechovsky. From the final, the jury clearly chose Honza Holinec as the winner of the bout.

In the case of women after the basic round, Adrienn Vachter from Hungary was in first place and Klara Curikova in second place, who fought against each other for the first place. The third place was fought for by Nikola Krisstanova and Katerina Velecka, both from Žatec. The duel is unambiguous and Nikola Krischanova wins and gets the bronze badge. In the final, as we have already indicated, Klara Curikova and Adri Vachter competed and Adri unfortunately some exercises did not work out as expected and Klara Curikova showed clean sets with no mistakes. The jury's decision was a victory for Klara Curikova, who could not believe it herself.

The winners of each category are announced! And now the battle for the prize money begins for the overall winner of the Street Hard Workout Battle.
Vitaly Pavlenko, Klara Churikova and Jan Holinec. The fight will go as expected.
The winner is Vitaly Pavlenko, the champion from Ukraine, who will travel 38 hours in a bus to come and win! He's here! He saw! He won! Hail Caesar!
