90's bodybuilding star Flex Wheeler lost a leg! It was amputated!

There is a report circulating the bodybuilding world these days concerning one of the biggest stars of professional bodybuilding in the 1990s, four-time Arnold Classic winner Kenneth Flex Wheeler.

For the amputation of his right leg below the knee ended a protracted health problem for him! The main cause was thought to be arterial calcification.
According to some information, which was also confirmed by another bodybuilding great and Flex's great friend Shawn Ray, Flex's blood vessels were breaking down and he was in excruciating pain.

Official statement from Flex Wheeler himself:

I would like to thank all my fans and fellow bodybuilding fans for your prayers and support during this difficult time for me and my family. Surgery was necessary due to escalating circulatory problems in my right leg that became life threatening.I am now resting comfortably and have begun rehabilitation.I would also like to thank my excellent medical team for their treatment and care.
