Green-brown seeds with a mild nutty taste. Suitable for soups, salads or roasting. The seeds have already been de-husked and are suitable for eating on their own. Their advantage is their easy storage and long shelf life.

Uses:

• Pumpkin soup - sprinkle with pumpkin seeds for garnish
• on their own - the seeds are also an excellent delicacy, suitable for example on the table for visitors
• salads - a few seeds can be added to the vegetables to enrich them
• roasting - roast the seeds in oil and then mix with salt or chilli to taste, they also taste great mixed with roasted almonds
• sprinkling - the seeds can be used as a decoration for homemade pastries, just sprinkle them on the shaped dough before baking
• soaking - takes 8 hours, the seeds are soft and taste pleasantly fresh

Pumpkin seeds are obtained from the pumpkin, which can be up to 60 kg. The plant is also sometimes called pumpkin and is native to Central America. It is one of the oldest crops cultivated by man.
