How to consume

Flaxseed flour swells when mixed with liquid, so it's great for thickening protein shakes, sauces and soups. It is also an ideal ingredient for baking doughs. It is added to muesli, yoghurt, desserts, pancakes, spreads, vegetable patties and other dishes.

Characteristics

Flaxseed flour is an antioxidant that supports normal heart function and is able to absorb and remove harmful substances in the human body. One hundred grams of flour contains 37 g of protein and 38.6 g of fibre. Flaxseed flour also supports hormonal activity and the function of the reproductive organs.

The flour is made from cold-pressed flaxseeds, partially defatted to prolong their shelf life.
