100% Zinc Bisglycinate contains zinc in a highly bioavailable chelated form—zinc bisglycinate. This bisglycinate consists of divalent zinc ions bound to two glycine molecules. The advantage of chelated minerals is that they are electrically neutral and can more easily reach their destination in the body in their unaltered form. In our product, zinc is bound to the non-essential amino acid glycine, which the body normally synthesizes. It is therefore a substance naturally present in the body.

Zinc is one of the most important minerals in the human body. It plays a role in cell division.

To improve zinc absorption, black pepper extract—piperine—has been added; it acts as a catalyst and enhances the effectiveness of zinc.
