Organic MCT Oil C8 & C10 comes from 100% organic coconutand is BIO certified by the Soil Association. Once the coconuts are harvested, they go through a gentle steam distillation process. Through this process, MCTs (medium chain triglycerides) are extracted, which have beneficial properties related to many areas in the body.

MCT fatty acids are metabolized in the body in a different way than LCTs (long chain). They do not require binding to protein and are therefore preferred by the body as a primary source of energy. This means that they are metabolized faster and are not stored as fat stores. Therefore, they can be used especially in reduction diets.

Viridian MCT oil consists of four triglycerides - C6 (capric acid), C8 (caprylic acid), C10 (capric acid) and C12 (lauric acid). C8 and C10 MCTs have been extensively researched and mapped as the most effective and beneficial. Viridian MCT oil is therefore high in both C8 and C10. The oil has a neutral taste and pleasant consistency, so it can be conveniently added to salads, smoothies or sauces.

Organic packaging

Viridian Nutrition uses 100% recyclable packaging. The base consists of glass bottles made of so-called amber glass, which protects the contents from light and heat. This type of glass is so-called infinitely recyclable. The product label is made of recyclable material with a special adhesive that dissolves in the recycling process. This allows the label and the glass to be easily separated so that both elements can be recycled and reused. The caps on the bottles are made of recyclable aluminium.

The packaging is currently being gradually updated and upgraded - in the original version, the product is packaged in a transparent cornstarch seal (plastic-free). In the new version, an anti-tamper seal is used under the product cap. You can therefore temporarily see both types of products in the range - the quality is of course identical.

Recommended dosage of Viridian MCT Oil Organic:

• 5-15 ml per day (1-3 teaspoons). Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 6 weeks. Use the oil in smoothies, salad dressings, to drizzle over ready-made soups, in smoothies, or as part of a sports nutrition or by itself on a spoon.
