Krill oil

Krill oil is extracted from Antarctic krill (small marine crustaceans). Its biggest advantage over regular fish oil is that the Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) are bound to phospholipids, rather than triglycerides. Human cells are themselves made up of phospholipids, so the body can absorb this oil immediately and with maximum efficiency.

This is precisely due to the aforementioned phospholipid bond. While regular fish oil suffers major losses during digestion, the phospholipids from krill oil pass through the cell wall directly and without resistance. Thanks to this massive bioavailability, you need a much smaller dose (and therefore smaller, easier-to-swallow capsules) to achieve the same, or even better, results than with large fish oil capsules.

This color is not an artificial dye; it comes from astaxanthin, which is one of the absolute strongest natural antioxidants in the world. Krill naturally contain it from their diet (algae). Astaxanthin acts as a perfect natural preservative that protects the capsule from going rancid, and it also provides your body with massive protection against oxidative stress after a heavy workout.

As soon as you swallow the capsule, the krill oil immediately mixes with your stomach fluids.
