After surgical orthopaedic interventions - to speed up and facilitate healing, in osteoarthritis, in horses with developmental joint disease, in horses with reduced mobility (e.g. with musculoskeletal pain) and poor rideability - to reduce pain.

Cranberry extract contains vitamin E, but in addition contains vitamins B, C, K, a number of minerals, is known to have antioxidant and anti-cancer effects, and is also used for urinary, oral and gastrointestinal infections.

APTUS EQUINE APTO-FLEX VET 1000 ml is a five-component chondroprotectant with hyaluronic acid and antioxidants for horses. It contains hyaluronic acid, MSM, collagen, glucosamine sulphate, chondroitin sulphate and antioxidants.

Active ingredients:

• Hyaluronic Acid - in cartilage, it is the main component of joint fluid, giving it softness, elasticity and lubricity. The structure of its molecule has the ability, even at low concentrations, to bind many water molecules to form a viscous gel that coats the friction surfaces of articular cartilage, which are then less worn.It binds to inflammatory cells in the joints and reduces their activity. It inactivates free oxygen radicals and stimulates joint cells (chondrocytes) to produce their own hyaluronic acid.
• Collagen (collagen protein) - is a source of a large number of amino acids involved in the proper development, nutrition and protection of the cartilage of the joints, the quality of the coat and claws.In hydrolysed form it is highly functional, easily digestible and immediately usable.
• MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) - is a natural source of the organic compound sulphur. It acts as a powerful antioxidant and prevents free peroxide radicals from damaging cartilage and bone cells and tissues. It participates in the formation of collagen fibre structure.
• Chondroitin sulphate - is an essential building block for the construction and repair of connective tissues. Its sufficiency protects cartilage against destruction and damage. It has a proven anti-inflammatory effect.
• Glucosamine sulphate - has a positive effect on the joint and ligament apparatus. It is used as a prevention of movement difficulties, in the period of bone growth, in convalescence after injuries to joints and tendons, in the prevention of arthrosis.

Preventive administration:

Before and after the racing season, during intense physical exercise (in athletic horses, during training, during competitions), in all horses to maintain good function of the locomotor system - nutrition, protection and regeneration of cartilage and ligaments in joints, improvement of mobility, prevention of arthritis.

Therapeutic administration:

After surgical orthopaedic interventions - to accelerate and facilitate healing, in osteoarthritis, in horses with developmental joint disease, in horses with reduced mobility (e.g. with musculoskeletal pain) and poor rideability - to reduce pain during movement, after trauma and injuries to the musculoskeletal system - to facilitate joint mobility, to slow the progression of arthrosis.

Recommended dosage:

• Weight of horse up to 100kg: 10ml. Weight of horse up to 250 kg: 15 ml once a day. Weight of horse over 250 kg: 30 ml once a day.
