Vitamin D3 belongs to the group of fat-soluble vitamins D. It is a very important group of vitamins playing a vital role in:

• the development and maintenance of bone tissue and teeth,
• the development and maintenance of the muscular system,
• immunity.

The main source of vitamin D3 is endogenous production in the skin, where it is produced by ultraviolet radiation (UVB). To a lesser extent, it is obtained from the diet (fish oil, fish, eggs). As vitamin D3 is not produced in the skin in our latitudes during the winter months, supplementation is advisable. The recommended daily dose of vitamin D3 is not fixed, usually between 200 - 800IU per day. The upper limit of the daily long-term tolerable intake of vitamin D3 for adults is 2000IU to 4000IU.

Recommended dosage:

• 1 capsule (once every three days).
