About the Leader brand
Leader Foods is a Finnish professional dietary supplement brand founded in 2001. It manufactures premium nutritional supplements for sports and outdoor. Due to the quality of its products, it became a partner of the Finnish Olympic team, which used Leader supplements during the Beijing Olympics. Leader Foods is also a partner of the Finnish national ice hockey team and the Finnish Ice Hockey Association. Leader Foods is also a supplier of key parts of operational rations to Leijona Catering, which provides professional nutrition to the Finnish Armed Forces.
Leader's supplements start with premium, pure ingredients, but these are just the beginning. Ingredient collection, pre-processing, production taking place in Leader's own production facilities in Toholami and Vantaa, packaging, storage and delivery - all subject to strict controls to ensure the flawless quality of the final product. Ensuring the quality and safety of Leader's products is a whole consisting of qualified personnel, innovative product development, selected raw materials, in-house production, certified quality control and continuous operational improvement. The controls associated with product manufacturing are based on the operating model of a pharmaceutical factory. Suppliers of raw materials are either pharmaceutical factories or have ISO 9000 or ISO 22 000 certification. Leader Foods' quality control is managed by a recognised specialist, Magali Laasonen, PharmD.
