Product description Prom-in Glucose

This product is a pure and unflavored raw material without any other additives.

Are you feeling tired, exhausted, sluggish, and reluctant to go to the gym after a busy day at work? No wonder; there is usually no time for quality eating, and you settle for fast food. The result is obvious. What might your training look like under such circumstances? Is it possible to reverse this undesirable state? Yes, you just need to take glucose right before your planned workout or other physical activity. Why? A low level of glucose – blood sugar, technically known as hypoglycemia – is highly likely the true cause of those undesirable states of lethargy and sluggishness.

Glucose, grape sugar, also known as dextrose, is a so-called monosaccharide and holds an entirely unique position among other sugars. It consists of the simplest molecule that cannot be broken down any further and simply passes directly through the intestinal wall immediately into the bloodstream. This is a huge advantage, as after drinking a glucose solution, the blood sugar level rises drastically and very quickly – within a few minutes. Suddenly, we feel energized and are literally able to "bend iron" in the gym; it goes without saying that the training has a completely different quality and intensity. And what do we do after training? We use glucose again – this is the best time to use it. If we have trained honestly (or, for example, cycled for several hours), our energy reserves are depleted, and we urgently need – ideally while still in the gym – to restore muscle glycogen. This is nothing more than a large number of linked glucose molecules.

The amount of glucose used should be directly proportional to the length and intensity of the training, meaning the state of exhaustion, and can be up to around 1 gram per 1 kg of body weight. I also recommend using whey protein concentrate at a dose of 30 to 40 grams simultaneously, as the combination of proteins and glucose exceeds the effect of sugars administered alone. What exactly happens after training thanks to glucose intake? As I described, there is immediate absorption and a sharp increase in blood sugar (hyperglycemia) – and now a phenomenon we call insulin anabolization occurs: an almost immediate reaction of the hormone insulin, which literally pulls glucose out of the bloodstream into the muscle cell, thereby ensuring the restoration of muscle glycogen. What's more – supercompensation occurs – meaning not only restoring but also increasing energy resources compared to the original state. The result? Our fitness level constantly increases this way, and we have more and more energy.

Glucose is truly indispensable for our body, and its minimum daily requirement is around 150 grams. The brain alone consumes a full 25% because it is its only source of nutrition (so don't be surprised that you are so tired during hypoglycemia). However, this by no means implies that you have to actually consume this amount! The body can basically convert all ingested sugar into glucose, including the most common one, beet sugar (which, as a disaccharide, requires relatively complex digestion). An advantage of glucose is also the fact that it is 20% less sweet than beet sugar, allowing us to use a larger amount without the drink becoming overly sweet. Not only water but also tea, coffee (the combination with caffeine is very suitable), or milk can be used to dissolve glucose. Just before training, even during it when a crisis hits, but especially after training, the use of glucose is almost essential. If you want to achieve optimal recovery, always have glucose "on hand"!

Recommended dosage:

  • adults: as an energy source, take 80 - 100 g of glucose daily
  • mix 80 g (7 level tablespoons) in approx. 500 ml of water, tea, milk, or dairy drinks

Warning: Food intended for particular nutritional uses, suitable for athletes. Read the information and warnings on the product label carefully before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage stated on the product label. Contains caffeine - not suitable for children, pregnant, and nursing women.
