L-Carnitine is a specific amino acid that promotes fat metabolism in the human body = so-called lipotropic effect. Carnitine helps the human body to significantly increase the production of energy from fat, administered before training is suitable for all individuals aimed at preventing the risk of muscle injury and protecting muscle mass. The effect of L-carnitine is to transfer fatty acids to muscle cells where they are burned for energy.

L-carnitine-L-tartrate is a compound of carnitine and tartaric acid (tartrate = tartrate, salt of tartaric acid), containing 65% carnitine and 35% tartaric acid. The organic binding of carnitine to tartaric acid allows it to be used in bulk form, without the use of artificial sweeteners and other unnatural ballast additives.

Tartaric acid is a naturally occurring organic acid found in nature in many places, but the main source is the grapevine. Tartaric acid is one of the so-called alpha-hydroxy acids and its main benefit is its strong antioxidant effect. Along with another naturally occurring organic acid, citric acid, it is also often used as a chelating agent that is natural to the body.
