Garlic (Allium sativum) is a bulbous perennial plant with a characteristic aroma. Eating garlic raw may irritate the stomach of some sensitive individuals, but its positive effects are greatly minimised when cooked. Long-term use of garlic in its raw state or in capsules is recommended. Garlic contributes to the normal function of the body's defences.

The food supplement Garlic 1500 mg has strong antimicrobial effects, normalizes blood pressure, cholesterol levels and the vascular system. It contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
