The supplement contains a premium Chaga extract, which is made from sclerotium, a special nutrient reservoir that the fungus creates to survive difficult conditions. Chaga has a long tradition of use in Siberian medicine, growing in the Nordic forests of Europe. Due to its black colour and enormously powerful effect it is nicknamed the black pearl or diamond of the forest. Especially since the 1960s, research on Chaga has been intensively pursued by the scientific community worldwide, which has mapped its properties related to the defensive shield, civilization problems and other areas. The symbiotic coexistence of beneficial fungi with plant roots is called mycorrhiza. Hifas da Terra continuously plants mycorrhizal trees to help damaged soil.

Clean energy and energy savings

Hifas da Terra's headquarters are surrounded by natural greenery, which also requires a mastery of water resource management. Therefore, there is a well collecting rainwater, which, after ozone treatment, serves as a water source for the company's headquarters. Biomass obtained from the surrounding forest is used as a biofuel generating heat during the winter in our slate floors.

Less waste

Hifas also uses a closed loop system to manage waste from the grow bags and logs we use in growing our mushrooms. Once the production cycle of bags and logs is complete, the resulting substrate is used to nourish our soil with organic matter.
