Aquamin Calcium + Vitamin D3 is a natural source of vitamin D3, calcium and magnesium that is derived from calcareous seaweed (Lithothamnion sp.) This seaweed is extracted from the seabed of the North Atlantic Ocean. Vitamin D3 together with calcium is a proven combination to maintain healthy bones. To maintain healthy bones, it is advisable to supplement the use of the product with adequate physical activity, which accelerates the deposition of calcium in the bones.
Better absorption of Aquamin + Vitamin D3 is achieved by taking it with a diet containing fat (e.g. salmon, avocado) and taking vitamin K2 at the same time.
Each dose contains the maximum safe daily allowable dose of vitamin D3 as determined by the State Institute for Drug Control.
