Maca is a small root vegetable cultivated for centuries by the indigenous people of the Andes, where it grows only at altitudes above 3,500 metres. The root is first dried in the sun and then ground. Naturally containing calcium and iron, it is ideal for boosting physical and mental performance as well as a source of energy and libido stimulant.

It has a slightly malty taste, works well as an emulsifier, very safe for long term use, has a warming effect, ideal for use in shakes, good in combination with dried cocoa, can be added to salads, dressings, soups, desserts or puddings.

Recommended dosage:

• Mix 12 g (3 heaped teaspoons) daily with 300 ml of juice, milk, fruit or vegetable smoothie. The pack contains 16 daily doses.

Warning: not suitable for children under 3 years of age. For pregnant and breastfeeding women, use of the product is recommended after consultation with a physician.
