Product description Prom-in Nitrox Pump
This is a comprehensive pre-workout blend designed to promote nitric oxide production, cellular hydration, energy activation, and mental focus.
It is based on the synergy of citrulline, A-AKG, beta-alanine, and creatine HCl, which create the conditions for uncompromisingly intense training sets.
The Neurofocus Complex (tyrosine, theanine, CDP-choline), supplemented with caffeine and synephrine, promotes alertness and performance.
This product is designed for those who don’t need motivation, but rather a tool that enables them to maintain maximum intensity.
Product Concept
During intense strength training, the athlete places increased demands on the body in terms of blood flow to muscle tissue, cellular hydration, and neuromuscular coordination.
One of the key performance factors is the production of nitric oxide (NO), which plays a role in regulating vascular tone and blood flow in muscle tissue. Adequate blood flow to the muscles influences the transport of oxygen, nutrients, and metabolic byproducts produced during muscle work.
In addition to blood flow, the volume of muscle cells, the availability of substrates for muscle contraction, and central nervous system control of performance also play a role.
Pre-workout supplements of this type contain active ingredients that aim to:
- promoting nitric oxide synthesis
- cell hydration and osmotic balance
- the availability of energy substrates for rapid ATP resynthesis
- central nervous system performance regulation by influencing neurotransmitters (dopamine, norepinephrine, acetylcholine)
- mental focus and cognitive performance during exercise
This product combines all of these approaches.
Part of this strategy may also involve the use of substances that act on the central nervous system. Caffeine is one of the most extensively studied ergogenic substances in sports nutrition and has long been associated with increased alertness, subjective energy, and the ability to maintain performance during intense physical exertion.
When combined with other substances that support neurotransmitter signaling, it can contribute to increased mental focus during training. The synephrine-containing extract from Citrus aurantium is used in pre-workout supplements to stimulate adrenergic receptors and promote the body’s metabolic activation during physical exertion.
Composition and Activity Profile of the Product
L-Citrulline Malate (2:1) – 6,500 mg
L-citrulline is an amino acid that increases the availability of L-arginine in the body (citrulline is recycled into arginine in the kidneys) and can thereby indirectly support the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO) via NO synthase.
In the scientific literature, citrulline is studied in connection with the following aspects:
- Increased plasma availability of arginine
- the hemodynamic response to exercise
- Performance during repeated sets
- Post-workout muscle soreness
Beta-alanine – 3,000 mg
Beta-alanine is the rate-limiting precursor of the dipeptide carnosine in muscle tissue. Carnosine acts as an intracellular buffer for hydrogen ions (H+) and thus helps maintain acid-base balance in muscle cells during exercise.
In the scientific literature, beta-alanine is studied in particular in connection with the following aspects:
- increasing carnosine concentration in the muscles
- buffering of metabolic acidosis
- performance during high-intensity intervals
A-AKG (L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate) – 3000 mg
L-arginine is a direct substrate for the enzyme NO synthase, which catalyzes the formation of nitric oxide (NO). Nitric oxide then acts as a signaling molecule that regulates vasodilation and blood flow.
In the scientific literature, A-AKG is studied in particular in connection with the following aspects:
- nitric oxide synthesis and the regulation of vascular tone
- blood flow and perfusion of muscle tissue
- amino acid metabolism
Creatine Hydrochloride – 2000 mg
Creatine serves as a rapid source of phosphate groups for the resynthesis of ATP. Creatine supplementation leads to an increase in intramuscular phosphocreatine stores, which can improve the ability to repeatedly perform at a high level.
In the scientific literature, creatine is studied in particular in connection with the following aspects:
ATP resynthesis during intense exercise
performance during repeated strength intervals
Beet Root Extract – 500 mg
A rich source of nitrates, which represent an alternative, oxygen-independent mechanism for NO production. Studies confirm its effects on vasodilation and exercise economy.
Grapevine extract (Vitis vinifera) – 200 mg
A source of proanthocyanidins (OPC), which can modulate the activity of endothelial NO synthase and promote antioxidant protection.
Niacin (nicotinamide) – 30 mg (188% of the recommended daily intake)
A precursor to the coenzymes NADₓ and NADPₓ, which are crucial for energy metabolism and the reduction of fatigue symptoms.
Taurine — 1,000 mg
Regulates cellular hydration and ion transport. Is being studied in relation to the stability of cell membranes under stress.
L-Tyrosine – 1,500 mg
Precursors of dopamine and norepinephrine. Supports cognitive performance in situations of mental or physical stress.
Caffeine, anhydrous — 250 mg
Reduces feelings of fatigue and increases alertness. Is one of the most thoroughly researched ergogenic substances, promoting both endurance and strength performance.
Quality, Raw Materials, and Technology
The product formula is based on raw materials produced through biotechnological fermentation processes, ensuring high purity and a stable composition.
The forms used include:
- L-Citrulline Malate 2:1
- Creatine hydrochloride
- Citicoline in the form of CogniWin®
- BioPerine® black pepper extract
Manufacturing:
- Manufactured in accordance with IFS / HACCP
- Transparent dosage of individual ingredients
- No proprietary blends
When and for whom it is suitable:
- Before high-intensity strength or resistance training
- During workouts that require mental alertness and increased concentration
- To promote vasodilation and blood flow
- For athletes who prefer pre-workout blends that combine “pump” ingredients with moderate stimulation
Recommended use of Prom-in Nitrox Pump Caffeine & Synephrine:
- The recommended dose is 22.5 g of the blend, mixed with 300–500 ml of water, taken approximately 15–30 minutes before training.
- From a biochemical perspective, it may be beneficial to schedule intake about one hour after a light meal containing easily digestible carbohydrates and proteins. This approach can improve the mixture’s tolerability as well as its metabolic availability during training.
- Preparation Instructions: Mix 22.5 g (7 scoops) of the mixture into 300 ml of still water. Consume 15–30 minutes before your workout.
- Recommended Daily Dose:
- One serving (22.5 g) daily before your workout.
