Extrifit brings you another innovative product in its new line of products, so radically that it can be called a new product! The product you knew as Hydro Instant has been improved: it has a better formulation, better consistency and better taste, and is called Hydro 77 DH12. And instead of one Hydro Instant flavour, we now offer you four Hydro 77 DH12 flavours, and they are all very tasty! Their pleasantly sweet taste is due, among other things, to the fact that the product contains a sweetener from the stevia plant, which is of natural origin. Hydro 77 DH12 contains instant, i.e. easily soluble, enzymatically hydrolysed whey concentrate with a hydrolysis degree of DH12.
What does it mean that the protein is hydrolysed? Through the process of hydrolysis, the protein bonds are broken down by protease enzymes (protein cleaving enzymes) into long chain amino acids. These amino acids are called polypeptides. This is an enzymatic process of hydrolysis - pre-digestion ("pre-chewing"). Its product is a protein that is perfectly usable by the body in the form of peptides, which include: oligopeptides (have more than 12 amino acids), dipeptides (have 2 amino acids), tripeptides (have 3 amino acids), tetrapeptides (have 4 amino acids), pentapeptides (have 5 amino acids), etc. The BV bioavailability index is 104 - 107.
Degree of hydrolysis - the most important data that determines the quality of the hydrolysed protein. Proteins can be subjected to the hydrolysis process at different rates, or have different degrees of hydrolysis. Unlike some other manufacturers, we not only list the degree of hydrolysis on the product label, but it is included directly in the product name - DH12, which is a high degree of hydrolysis that gives our product a high content of short peptides. Proteins with a high degree of hydrolysis are typically characterized by having a slightly, but really slightly and not unpleasantly bitter taste, which you can also feel in our product, and it is proof that it is a really high quality hydrolyzed product. Avoid so-called hydras that do not indicate the degree of hydrolysis. Usually in this case it is at most grade 4, which is irrelevant in the absorption rate of the protein. It is just more expensive.
A sign of the quality of protein products is also the content of individual protein fractions, which Extrifit clearly declares on the label of this product: Hydro 77 DH12 contains beta lactoglobulin 36%, alpha lactalbumin 15%, immunoglobulin 2.5%, bovine serum albumin 2.5%, whey protein fractions with a molar mass of 500 - 1000 Da 4% and whey protein fractions with a molar mass < 500 KDa 40%.
The amino acid content of 100 g Hydro 77 DH12 is 76165 - 79458 mg depending on the flavour. It also has the advantage of a low carbohydrate and fat content. The intake of this high-quality protein source contributes to the growth of muscle mass and its maintenance in situations where it is threatened by catabolism.
Recommended dosage:
- Depends on body weight, sports activity and diet composition
- We recommend dividing the daily dose (2 - 6 scoops) into 2 - 3 servings
- Due to the high content of short peptides with fast utilization, this protein is suitable for consumption after training, or even before training and in the morning on an empty stomach
- Mix the contents of 1 scoop (= 30 g) of Hydro 77 DH12 in 150 - 200 ml of water
