GreenDay® Lute-IN® is a dietary supplement containing lutein, a natural fat-soluble carotenoid that occurs naturally in vegetables and fruits, especially concentrated in green leafy vegetables such as kale and spinach. This substance is found in the healthy human eye. It is a yellow pigment classified as a common xanthophyll. These play a crucial role in the process of photosynthesis.

Lutein and its isomer, zeaxanthin, are often found together and lutein can be converted to zeaxanthin in the blood serum. Although we are each born with this substance, lutein is not reproduced and replenished by the body automatically, so its levels naturally decline with age. Therefore, it is especially important to consume this essential carotenoid to keep your retina and macula as healthy as possible. So the only way to get this carotenoid is through diet or supplementation.

Recommended dosage:

• Take 1 capsule daily with food. Take 1 capsule per day with a daily dose of water.
