Original mumio (shilajit) from Altai

Mumio, which among humans is called mountain resin, tears of the mountains or tears of the rocks, in Ayurveda shilajit, is a very special kind of bio-geological sediment that has a sticky consistency and a very dark, the best quality to black color. It occurs in several mountain regions - in the Caucasus, the Altai or the Himalayas. Mumio from Altai is considered the most valuable and potent due to its highest content of active ingredients. The raw material for the production of mumio is mined in high mountain conditions at more than 3,000 metres above sea level, where it has been naturally deposited for no less than 500 to 1,000 years. It is a very specific black geological-biological material that occurs in separate 'veins' in remote caves and rocks. Its extraction is completely organic, without the use of any synthetic additives, and the subsequent purification takes place at low temperatures that allow the mummy to retain its full spectrum of nutrients.

The Altaic origin of the mummy is very important. The Altai is a huge, almost 2000 km long mountain range in Central Asia on the border of Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia. There is a very minimal population and at the same time a huge natural wealth (the name Altai comes from the Mongolian Altan = golden mountains). At the same time, the remoteness from civilization and the high altitude allow the Altai to remain untouched, thanks to which many natural wonders can be found here, including the Altai Mummy.

The active ingredients in the mumio

The main active substance in the mummy is the so-called humic acids, among which fulvic acid stands out (here it makes up 50% of the mummy's contents), a special substance formed in biological sediments that has very strong adaptogenic effects. It acts as a versatile metabolic optimiser and harmoniser with properties related to virtually all biological processes. Humic acid is a source of many other substances - non-essential amino acids such as glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, phenylalanine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan, isoleucine, lysine, arginine, valine, aspartic acid, minerals such as manganese, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, phosphorus, chromium, nickel, zinc, copper, sulfur silicon, selenium, argentum, cobalt and aluminum, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids, essential oils, organic acids, flavonoids, carotenoids and vitamins.

An important characteristic of all these substances contained in the mummy is their bioavailability = they are all 100% natural. This makes mumio, although it is outwardly a single substance, an all-in-one among adaptogens.

Original Siberian Ginseng + Original Siberian Rhodiola

To further enhance the effect, Eastern Adaptogen contains two additional natural substances - Siberian ginseng extract and Siberian rhodiola rosea extract. Siberian ginseng has very similar properties to mumio, related in particular to overall vitality, stress, performance, recovery, joints, sugar levels, energy levels and concentration. The main active constituents of Siberian ginseng are eleutherosides. There are a total of seven basic types of eleutherosides, with the most studied being eleutherosides B and E. In the extract in Eastern Adaptogen, these two are standardized to 1.5% content.

Rhodiola rosea is a well-known adaptogen with properties related mainly to resistance to stress and psychological strain. Rhodiola rosea contains bioactive polyphenols such as rosavin, salidroside, syringin, triandrin and tyrosol. The extract in the supplement is standardized to contain 1% salidroside and 3% rosavin.

Recommended dosage:

• 1 capsule daily - between meals (dosage is adjusted according to EU legislation).
• Note: Original dosage according to the manufacturer: 2 x daily 1 capsule between meals ( = 1 - 2 capsules per day).
