A natural remedy for inflammation and pain!
ALAVIS™ MSM for horses has proven analgesic (pain relieving) and antiphlogistic (anti-inflammatory) effects. It reduces the production of mediators of inflammation, helps improve physical condition, strengthens ligaments and tendons, protects stressed joints and improves their function. ALAVIS™ MSM has been found to improve wound healing and is therefore recommended for post-traumatic and post-surgical conditions.
ALAVIS™ MSM for horses contains an ultra-pure form of MSM at a concentration of 99.97%. No excipients are added to maintain high quality.

MSM - Methylsulfonylmethane
MSM is a substance containing organically bound sulphur which acts to strengthen ligaments and tendons, reduce inflammation and pain and to regenerate and relax muscles. It also has strong antioxidant and other positive effects and is a unique source of sulphur compounds that have positive effects in the body, especially in damaged articular cartilage. Sulphur is involved in the formation of collagen and glucosamines - the basic building blocks of articular cartilage and connective tissues. MSM is also helpful in improving hoof horn and coat quality.

ALAVIS™ MSM for horses is recommended to be administered:
- for foals from 2 - 3 months of age
- for young horses
- for race, sport and working horses
- for older and heavier horses
- for post-traumatic and post-surgical conditions
- in horses with allergies (alleviates allergic reactions)
- for poor coat quality, especially dull coats
- to improve the overall health and prolong the active life of the horse
ALAVIS™ MSM for horses is particularly suitable for the following conditions:
- chronic myalgia (muscle pain) and muscle cramps
- degenerative and inflammatory disorders of the musculoskeletal system, such as arthritis, epiphysitis, laminitis
- in hoof shot disease
- for pain in the lumbar spine (lumbalgia)
- pleurisy (pleurisy)
- cracks in the hoof capsule
Method of use: The powder can be given with a piece of food, mixed into a kernel or molasses or given directly into the mouth. ALAVIS™ MSM is a white crystalline powder with no sulphurous odour.
Duration of use: no time limit. No serious side effects have been noted with long-term administration. It is not doping, it can be administered throughout the sports season.
The veterinary medicinal product is approved under ÚSKVBL number 173-03/C.
