Product description Wolfberry Himalayan salt pink fine
Himalayan pink salt is mined in Pakistan. This salt is found in reddish or pink colour, but its white, transparent form is not rare either. Pink Himalayan salt is incredibly pure because it is 250 million years old, so it hasn't been affected by civilisation like sea salt, which is mined from polluted oceans.
Only about 10% of the best quality salt is selected for consumption and this is regularly checked in independent laboratories. Salt contains 88 elements, including 84 minerals, which are in such small particles that they are easily absorbed by the cells of the human body. The salt contains magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc and iodine, among others.
The pink salt crystals were formed over millions of years under great pressure from overlying rocks. The salt gets its pink colour from its iron oxide content and a wide range of other minerals. Just for the record, in the past this salt was called royal salt in Europe because it was reserved only for members of the royal family.
Wolfberry Himalayan Pink Salt is extracted from the mines by hand, in accordance with nature and long tradition. Thus, no mechanical equipment or explosives are used in the extraction process. After the salt is mined by hand, it is crushed by hand, washed by hand and then dried in the sun.
The salt is sterilely packaged and therefore suitable for direct consumption. It is also suitable for relaxing baths, as no artificial chemical compounds are added. It is from them that the skin can beautifully absorb all the tiny particles of contained minerals, so the body in such a bath not only relaxes beautifully, but also replenishes the necessary substances.
