The main countries where the Cocos nucifera and Cocos butyracea coconut palms grow, from which the coconut oil is sustainably sourced, are the Philippines, Indonesia or India. The roughly 1-2 cm thick endosperm of the fruit contains about 60% oil, which has a neutral taste and smell thanks to special processing. As a result, it can be used in many ways - from cooking, to skin care, to massage, for example. It is very rich in saturated fatty acids and does not burn easily.

Uses:

• Coconut oil is liquid at a temperature > 25°C and is suitable for frying, baking, cooking, cold cooking.
