Product description LifeLike Pecans
A native North American tree, the pecan tree, whose crowns reach up to 25-40 metres in height, produces nuts each year, hidden in a smooth brown hardy shell. However, the Indian word pecan also translates as 'It takes a stone to break it'. When shelled, pecans are very similar to the familiar walnut. However, as botanists point out, it is not actually a nut, but a drupe, such as apricots.
