Product description Grizly Steam nuts
Para nuts grow exclusively in the Amazon rainforest on some of the tallest trees in the forest (reaching up to 50 metres in height) in fruits similar to the coconut. A single fruit has 10 to 25 seeds protected by a thick shell, which contains the edible part. They are highly prized for both their delicious taste and their nutritional value. They are very rich in healthy fats in the form of monounsaturated fatty acids and minerals. Para nuts are especially known for their high selenium content, but they also contain significant amounts of copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and zinc.
Para nuts have a wide range of uses in the kitchen. They are suitable for cooking, baking and especially for snacking. They can be mixed with other nuts or dried fruits to add flavour and other nutrients.
