Agave syrup is very sweet, the sweetest of all syrups, even sweeter than honey and sugar. It is suitable for both cold and hot cuisine. It is excellent in porridges, cocktails, smoothies, baking, and for making jams. Dilute a few spoonfuls with water and you can make a great homemade lemonade.

Agave syrup is the concentrated juice of agave cacti. It has a mild and neutral taste and colour. Its density is about halfway between the thinnest and thickest syrup. Agave syrup is a very versatile helper.

Store in a dry, dark place and protect from heat.
